The merino stud was founded in 1949 on Ashrose bloodlines, while Collinsville blood formed the basis of the Poll Merino Stud established in 1957.
Emphasis is on breeding early maturing, plain bodied sheep with sound confirmation and strong constitution with good carcase traits. Our wool is well nourished, bright and stylish and high yielding, with our ewe flock cutting an average fleece of 8 – 9kg.
