About Greenfields

At Greenfields we concentrate on breeding sheep with high fleece weights, fertility, good carcase traits and early growth rates.

We place a stong emphasis on strict visual classing of all sheep and use objective measurement to assist in our assessment. 

Artificial Insemination programs using leading industry sires continue to improve the quality of our genetics and help meet our breeding objectives.

Greenfields has been breeding high quality Merino and Poll Merino’s for over 70 years and has achieved great success at many major sheep shows and great Ram Sale results. Our sheep are bred to thrive in a wide range of environments.

We offer a free classing service to our clients and are always available to provide general advice with ram selection and flock management.
